On Sunday, October 26th I had fun as a spectator for the 2008 KC Zombie Walk. KC horror fans joined a nation wide zombie walk for hunger. Fans dressed as zombies for a walk through KC's famous County Club Plaza to raise food donations for Bishop Sullivan Center, which operates three food pantries in the metro area, serving over 1600 families each month. Each "zombie" provided non-perishable food items to participate in the walk.
It was fun to see how some people really got into their zombie roles. There were some impressive make-up jobs showing wounds, scars, etc. I've included a few pics here but you can view all the pictures I took at my KC Zombie Walk Flickr Photo Set.
